Home on the range

Im home. And boy oh boy do I love travelling. I've already planned my next trip in full, for sure. Anyways I shall tell you all about my wonderous vacation. My parents drove me and bryan to calgary last friday, and we met up with bryans mom at the mcdonalds in strathmore. Then the next day at the airport I was majorly stressed out. We didnt know where to go, or really what to do considering I have never been in an airport by myself. I guess it wasnt really by myself since bryan and his parents were there too. But It was all fine once i got on a plane. Even though that was a little scary too. But exciting. We got there at 8 at night, their time, which is an hour ahead of alberta. The customs there is pretty neat, the guy tells you to push a button and if the street light thing goes red you get searched, if not, your free to go on. So we get to the hotel, go for supper. A "welcome supper" It was a different theme every night at the buffet restaurant. Our rooms... well they had two beds which was kinda weird. But we just used one for our luggage, much more conveniant than the floor. We found a gecko the first night, and named him fernando. We found only three more, but it was ok. We explored the malecon the first night there. It was so cool. I honestly felt safer on a saturday night in the middle of downtown puerto vallarta than I would in medicine hat. Theres just so many people, they just dont go to sleep! The road in front of our hotel was constantly busy too, all night there was non stop traffic, it was pretty cool. Sunday was just shopped and lounged out by the pool and ocean. Monday, My birthday!! we lounged for a bit, then went to nuevo vallarta to the sea life park. Which was basically a water slide park with a dolphin tank and sea lion tank. We watched the dolphin show, then I got sad when the whole audience got to go swim with the dolphins and I didnt :( So then we just went to look at the sea lions and go down a couple water slides. Then we got bored of it so we went back to the hotel and sat by the ocean. Then we saw a wild dolphin, it was super cool. And since it was my birthday we had tequila shots at the beach bar.
Tuesday was the day that we did our whale watching/snorkelling tour it was really fun. We went whale watching for about two hours then we sailed away to the marietas islands which were just volcanic rock islands, they werent exactly beautiful and they were covered in cactuses. We jumped in the water from the side of our boat and there were hundreds of fish, bryan was in his glory. So of course, he was also the last one back in the boat. Then we went to paradise beach by punta mita. It was super nice white sand beaches with tide pools on the rocks. I got burnt there because since we were only going to be there for an hour, we left our sunscreen on the boat. But it was awesome.
The rest of the week we just chilled, walked around town and explored. One day we went to the market, that was a little creepy. We bought one blanket, then walked around and some guy asked me how much I paid for it, i told him and he coaxed me into his shop and he would give me another blanket for a better price. There were two guys, one led me to the blankets then the other guy led bryan to the cigars. Then the one guy decided to show me the pipes with the mexican clay people doing it on it... and he said something perverted and grabbed my hand, led me to the blankets, and kept holding my hand. That was creepy. I got out of there rather fast after that.
The rest of the week was mellow and relaxing.
The plane ride back was shitty, super shitty. Our flight left at 9, so we had to be there at 6. We got to the airport and we were practically last in line. So we didnt get to sit together. Instead I had to sit beside safari mario and his fat, big breasted wife with a gobbel chin. I got there before they did, and the first thing I saw when he was putting his stuff in the overhead compartment was his big pit sweat stain... needless to say, they stank as well. Not only were they elbowing me the whole time other safari joe in front of me kept moving his seat back, when i was trying to eat!!! I had the isle seat, and im not good in moving things when I cant see outside, so I was a little nauseas. Then what pissed me off even more was when we flying over arizona you could see the grand canyons from the plane, but do you think I ever got a chance to see it? nooooooo safari mario and gobbel chin had their big heads over the little window THE WHOLE TIME, and he was taking pictures. argh.
Bryan brought back two bottle of tequila and a smuggled mezcal (but not really)
When we were there we bought these cool day of the dead t-shirts and I bought matching earings. Of course, I was playing with the mezcal today in my pocket when we were walking back from the movie store and my earings were in there, so... guess what, I lost one of my earings already. I will post pictures maybe later tonight or tomorrow. But I will write some more later.
Oh and as for my other vacation in 2008. Im going to belize for two or three weeks with bryans mom and step dad. They have the best snorkelling there supposedly, and world renown scuba. my cousin has been there... figures.

Stupid CC, and stupid baby food

I am sick. Stomach flu sick. Yesterday at 3 I started getting a really bad headache that turned into a migraine by 4:30 and I still had to work till 8. It was sheer hell. Then after my 15 minute break, I went back downstairs and I was shaking like a banshee on cociane, so I thought I would just go upstairs and sit for a while. My supervisor wasnt there so I didnt care what I did. But the minute I got upstiars, I had to go to the bathroom and throw up... it wasnt pretty. The apple that I had at lunch all came up, like applesauce. Then I left 10 minutes early, bryan brought me drugs and I went to go sleep at his house. He went out for coffee without me while I slept. But he brought me chocolate cream pie. After I ate that it didnt last too long either. poor pie :( I cancelled work today too, and I told bryan we cant go to the hockey game any more cause my boss will probably fire me if he sees me there. He even told me when I phoned in sick " I better not see you at the hockey game" In a very stern CC like voice. I hate him, this was the only hockey I probably ever had a chance to go to this year.

Other than that I only have $67 in debt. I had 467 before, but because of my government money I am almost debt free. YAY. Plus I get paid today, yay. PLUS I only have three more days until I leave, and tomorrow my parents are going to have a birthday party for me.

I think I just hit puberty, just when things were looking up, bam I get caught looking like a 13 year old acne infested teenager..... And Im supposed to go to the beach like this. I look bad enough with my hair wet, why not add big red mountains on my face.
And I only have 5 more days... eeeeeeeeeeeeee
We got our plane tickets on thursday, and I also got this really nifty travel book thing. PLUS I saw the nicest dress today, it was quite expensive but if I try it on and like it then bryan said he will buy it for me for my birthday.
Which is good cause then I can wear it to mexico and to kristens "unbirthday party" on feb 25.. at the silver buckle, and Ill be 18 so I can go..... eeeeeeeee more excitment.
Other than that I still have to endure 33 hours of work... :( And we have the baby section now and on saturday I got smoked in the head with a pack of 100 diapers, those babys are heavy.
And today I got hit on TWICE by an old man, the same guy, who wishes he were 17 again...... good lord I need a vacation.

Dont add wood when your house is burning

Yesterday I bought the coolest calendar and it was 75% off so I only paid $4!!! It was the Itunes calendar that gives you a song to download every day, its cooooolieo.
I also got underwear from la senza, really sexy ones.
I hate how the weekends go by so fast just because im not working! And I dont even have monday off this week. I hate working mondays, they suck.
Although I did save $50 this week because my dad said that he would drive us to calgary when we go to mexico instead of us having to pay for a greyhound, even though I dont mind riding on the bus, I kinda like it. Maybe its just cause im really used to it. I think I road the bus.... about 40 hours total last year. All I did this weekend was basically shop and read. Bryans reading the harry potter series, hes already on the third book and he just started about two weeks ago. I however have taken advantage of me buying him The life of Pi. And I also got another book from the library. I think thats what Im going to do for the rest of the night, at least for a while. I also went more mexico shopping today. We bought vitamin water, travel sized stuff, the new vanity fair with *barf* lindsay lohan on it, I just want to read the story because she's highly upset over it. At least I didnt get the one with hilary duff and her ugly boyfriend on it. God I hope they dont reproduce, It should be against the law. I just think that ugly people should just not reproduce, its not right. Hilary duff just has to be the ugliest thing now, she was decent when she had a little weight on her face, now she just looks like a skinny bum face, literally. ugh. It annoys me.

The brothel...

The other day, thursday or no, it was wednesday. Anyways, on wednesday me and bryan went to the armoury because they were having the police awards and recognition that night. THe first thing that they did was a police parade and that means that they were marching and doing drill and it really really reminded me of sea cadets. They were doing all the stuff that we used to do like stand at ease, attention and the other things that we used to do I just forgot the names of the commands. They wern't running away from grossnesses though, even though that was the only fun part of the brothel. Bryans step mom got an award. After the ceremony was over every body got cake if they wanted some. They brought out three big cakes and at the time I didnt know that all of them were different so I just grabbed from the first one. It happened to be marble, and later on I wanted chocolate, but I didnt have another piece. One of those big mcDonalds orange juice bins was there too, I cant believe they still make that juice. It was good considering that I hadnt eaten since that morning.
This weekend all we did was lay around and watch movies. We rented serenity and Under the tuscan sun. I dont recommend serenity, its pretty much a made for tv movie, we didnt even make it through the whole movie.

I hate my schedule for this week. I have to work nights, at least till 9 one night and till about 6 or 8 the rest.

Crisis

My worst nightmare has come true!!! For the last month I was so desperatly afraid that I would have a cold for when I went to mexico. Then I go to the pool on sunday and bam, now I have a cold. It sucks poopy potato chips. And I learned that I cant even swim properly. How am I ever going to snorkel when I cant even hold my breath for very long, plus I have to hold my nose. I suck. And I better be over this cold in 25 days or I am going to be a very very unpleasant girl.
Saturday me and bryan rented The Island and The virgin suicides. I liked the virgin suicides, and I had already seen The Island, but I like it too. Then we went swimming and some horrible child must have given this to me. Stupid children.
Yesterday I went to the doctors and it seems like we have another crisis of 98 to deal with. By that I mean I had things on my neck that the doctor froze with liquid nitrogen (really hurt) so in a couple of days they're going to swell up and look hideous like the ones did on my face when I was in grade 6.... and my parents made me go to school like that. I was and always will be emotionally tramatized for life because of that.
From now on im going to drink lots of water, get lots of sleep and of course take lots of drugs. I must get rid of this.

Making up

I love it when boyfriends try to make you feel better when your really mad. The other day we had to go to the health clinic to get our shots for mexico, but before that we had about an hour and I wanted to go out for brunch. Bryan said we could go the day before, but when it came time to, we didnt, cause he had to do a bunch of running around. Needless to say, I wanted my pancakes and sausage so I got upset. But then after work, we went to Perkins, it was good. The needles hurt though, I had to have two. I almost had to have about 5 because she didnt get my file from bc so I was missing all my Hep B, and tetanus and things like that. It was a disaster, but with one quick phone call and a fax later, I was well on my way to better breathing because of a lot less stress. All I had to have done was my other measles shot, and My Hep A.

Tomorrow I get to go out for breakfast again. But the down part is that I have to work at 6 :(

We actually left for calgary on Dec 27th instead of the 26th which made me dissapointed. And not only that, but we left at 4. But its ok, we saw Fun with Dick and Jane before we left.
When we got there, we had vietnamese food, it was alright, the sauce wasnt my favorite, and im not going to say why.
Then the next morning we went to the goverment building because bryan had to get his passport stuff all done up. It took a very long time. All the hot chocolates I had in calgary really didnt taste that great. They were either steamed chocolate milk that you find in the jugs, or they were steamed milk with a hint of chocolate sauce.
After the passport thing we went to chinook mall. Old navy really dissapointed me, there were absolutely none of their printed tees for girls, and that was basically all I went there for. But I did buy lots at American eagle.
The next day we went downtown to do some shopping at the eaton center and all the other 12000 malls that connect to it, it was insane, but really nice. Bryan got hooked on Jugo Juice, which is pretty darn good, its too bad we dont have one here. We also went to the Devonian gardens which were pretty nice too. That night we went to Japanese Village, it was the coolest restaurant ever. You sat at this C (only more square)shaped table and it seated 18 people with a grill on each side and then these fancy japanese cooks would make you food right in front of you on the grill. I had the chicken and shimp and oh boy and I glad I didnt have to pay, it was highly expensive, but oh so good. Plus they gave you green tea and sorbet after your meal.
The next morning we went to Krispy Kreme and then to the Sunridge mall for a while. I bought LOTs there. Including shoes that I needed badly.
Then we went home in the after noon.
